Our department's goal is to provide educational services within the framework of contemporary educational principles, taking into account the needs of the mining sector, and to serve society and humanity. The associate degree program in mining technology provides training in professional subjects in line with the modern opportunities required by the day. It aims to train technical personnel who have received adequate technical training in all mining-related branches, acquired skills in evaluation, analysis, and application, and are capable of implementing production techniques; possess a sense of professional and ethical responsibility; are entrepreneurial, investigative, open to technological developments, beneficial to their country and humanity, possess scientific thinking and a broad worldview, respect human rights, and possess the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and general knowledge of "MINING TECHNICIANS" to address the country's development and needs.

To produce scientific and technological solutions in the extraction of mineral resources to meet the current and future needs of the world; preparation, enrichment and evaluation of ore, coal and various industrial minerals; and to train technicians who will meet current and future demands, are socially responsible, environmentally conscious, open to global developments and actively work in the industry.
